The Take-A-Part T

Several years ago the Triangle Chapter acquired the "Take-Apart-T" from an antique car club in the state of Washington.  It is a 1917 Model T that can be taken apart and put back together as entertainment at local shows.  The Triangle Chapter Assembly Team beat their old record of 5 minutes 7 seconds by 4 seconds at the AACA National meet held in New Bern, NC on May 12, 2007.  Upon completion of the assembly, the engine is hand cranked, the crowd is parted and the Take-Apart-T is driven a short distance. This is always a crowd favorite. We do demonstrtations at 5-7 events each year. To become part of our assembly team, join the Chapter, let us know you want to be a team member and come to our next event.
